Who Is Fair Game?
Fair Game President Mary Felegy, with her dogs
Sparky, Gael, Tam, and Becky, was judged to be "Most Promising
Handler" at the 2000 New Jersey State Sheepdog Trials. Since
that time, she has gone on to place at the highest level of sheepdog
competition.
Gael
is an award-winning, purebred border collie with years of experience
working livestock and geese in farm, public-demonstration, and
competitive sheepdog trial settings.
Tam
was voted "Most Promising Dog" at her sheepdog trial
debut in 1999. She has since gone on to placements in Open trials
(the most competitive class that sheepdog trials offer).
Becky,
the youngest of the Fair Game goose dogs, is the daughter of the
2002 reserve national sheepdog trial champion. She has just started
her trialing career with Mary and has already accumulated many
first place awards at her level of competition.
Sparky
is Fair Game's premier "goose chaser," a border collie-Lab
mix with tested herding instinct and an avid interest in Canada
geese.
